Ø       PUT athletes NAME IN CLOTHES

Ø       Holiday Closures & Schedule:

o        Thanksgiving Weekend –      Open Fri, Oct 5th

                                               Closed Sat, Sun and Mon

o        Halloween Wednesday –      Anything after 5pm will be cancelled

o        Remembrance Day Sunday-  All Classes are being offered on Sun and Mon

o        Christmas Show will be held on Sun, Dec 17th and classes the following week from Mon to Fri are still on.  Last practice before Christmas will be that weekday practice.

Ø       VAS Policy Manual – Everyone got one in May – Also online – Be familiar with all of our expectations.

Ø       Attendance Policies – Absentee Request Form to be handed in directly to the Coach

Ø       Tumbling Classes vs. Privates.  For privates, always contact the Coach directly.

Ø       Office Hours will be posted on the website this upcoming week: Day & Evening This year

Ø       Lost and Found

Ø       Garbage in Gym

Ø       Seating for viewing practices

Ø       Parking in front vs. back

Ø       Student Credentialing to determine “level” of athlete

Ø       Competition Fees -    $110-150 for Competitive Athletes

These Fees are Due Feb 1st 2008. 

You have until then to fundraise.

-   If you drive to Seattle Sonics Competition, then you will only owe $35 for that competition.

Ø       When you need to talk to someone regarding your child and her/his team, Do NOT call the gym to leave a message.  Please contact the child’s coach(es) directly.  The easiest way to do this is by e-mail.  Simply e-mail them by writing their first name@vancouverallstarcheer.com     .  All Coaches provide Parents and Athletes with their personal Cell Phone numbers on phone lists so make sure you have their number saved on your cell phone.

** Sea to Sky – If you would like to stay in a hotel, we will be providing you with a link to the online hotel reservation information in January.  This will be done on your own as the gym will not be overseeing hotel bookings this year.

** Seattle Trip – If you would like to drive other athletes, you will be compensated for gas from those families.  Cost of ticket to watch the competition is $20 and that includes the ticket to stay and watch the basketball game that evening.
